Dear 5th grade students, You have been working really hard these past weeks, so I want to propose you a really fun activity. Tomorrow we will be having a brain break during the first part of our session by singing and dancing to the Milkshake  song, by Koo Koo Kanga Roo.   Good morning 5th graders! I want to propose you a voice dictation activity that you will enjoy very much. You are going to be able to read out loud the "Jump Around" text to your computer´s microphone while Google Docs voice dictation tool records and writes down what you are saying. It doesn´t matter if the voice dictation is not perfect. I want you to practice your pronunciation and reading skills. Please, once you are done reading the text, upload your document to your Google Drive. Directions: - First, click on the link to go the the Google Docs page. - Go to "Herramientas" and "Escribir por voz". - You will se a microphone symbol on the left:    - It is important that you check that the language on top of the symbol is English (US) or English (United Kingdom). - Click the microphone symbol and it will change its color to red, and it will start recording and writing down the text you are reading. When you want it to stop recording, just click again...
